When I painted my valve cover wrinkle red: (notice that I have a jdm vc because the VTEC is bigger than the DOHC)

Then, I decided to change it up. This is how it sits now:

You might just have a B16 valve cover, that's the same one that is on my Si. Only difference is that mine is black.

Yeah i saw you're thread a couple of times.i'm going to the auto stores tomorrow to look for vht paints and i found a diy on painting it.I wish i had a itr
It's usually a special order
Part#: SP204

VHT Wrinkle Red is what I used. I would defiantely begin to heat right away though w/ heat and make sure ambient temp is about 80+. I had to re-do mine because the wrinkles were too seperated.
Paint gets everywhere in your room and follow the 3 coats every 5 mins.
The paint is very sensitive and do heavy coats without overspray.

Start baking in like 30 mins. So it's dry enough not to boil, but not so dry so it doesn't wrinkle.

Personally I chose to re-paint because I think the USDM cover looks cleaner because theres less letter clutter.
The JDM one has a giant "H" on it too and says HONDA instead of Honda Motor Co.

If you're talking about me ominous, then I wouldn't be surprised lol. Previous owner did an engine swap due to the car being previously stolen. It was black before, I just repainted it. lol

I just noticed that OP posted this on the 2nd gen thread. Do you have a B17 motor?

that splatter one would defiantly be very unique i'll tell you that and if you go with it it will kinda grow on you so if i had to pick one i would choose the splatter one since it will be one of a kind and if you choose lets say a red one it wont be all that amusing to anybody cause who knows lets say you go with a red one and probably somebody two blocks away got the same color just like yours wow that's really unique so be unique and choose the splatter one cause its cool and you don't see things like that every single day so set your self from everybody else be different

Yeah. I think SI ones were like the JDM ones because they are in fact "Hondas"
Acura valve covers said Honda Motor Co. on the Vtec covers.
I don't remember about the LS covers.

I think the early models had the H on them, because mine does. But you do see the LS valve cover without the H. Then they switched to the OBD2/B20 covers which only say "Honda Motor Co."

It was easy to remember my Si valve cover because it's the little B, so DOHC is smaller than Vtec.

Did your VC still have the H on it though? I thought the EM1 VC's were the same as the JDM ones.
Thats pretty legit.

VTEC
(Spark Gap)
(no H)
HONDA

Youre saying yours is like that?
