Hey guys,

Last week I noticed that I was leaking coolant lol among other things, and so when I crawled under the car to try and find the source, I noticed that the end of the large black water pipe thats on the back of the engine thats goes into the rear of the water pump housing is leaking where it goes into the water pump housing. Is there an o-ring at that joint or is this something that will have to be pressed in with a machine or what not? Has anyone had this issue before?
Any help/info would be much appreciated.

No, don't remove the water pump. you want to start at the other end (transmission side) you need to remove the water housing that bolts to the block then pull the tube out....

DO the LS motors have oil coolers? On my b17 it took unbolting some stuff more then just the therm housing to skillfully get it out.

yea they do have oil coolers. Mines a B18A in a 91 and it has one. What a cool addition to that motor. Only other time I have seen oil coolers on stock engines are on trucks because they assume they will be used for towing. Well done honda...
