B20 is going to be the weakest of all the one's you suggested. While it's the cheapest, it won't be able to handle lots of power and abuse

Those don't last very long. Hybrids don't hold up well, they weren't mean to be mated, so they don't hold up for much linger than a year. I know plenty of people why built them "the right way" and they don't lastLs/vtec ftw!

I disagree. An LS/Vtec can last and perform well. It's all dependent on how it's built. I had an LS/Vtec and it ran just fine and lasted as well. I sold it with the car when I bought another. Just curious, how long did you run your LS/Vtec setup?I disagree. An LS/Vtec can last and perform well. It's all dependent on how it's built. I had an LS/Vtec and it ran just fine and lasted as well. I sold it with the car when I bought another. It's about building it properly.
