+2rep pts. He'll fade out soon. Trying to remember who he reminds me of.....there was this other kid with 357522575347873367 flamed threads cuz he said stupid shit. It's like a new one every month. I'm going to start seeing how quick I can scare away idiots like this. My last one took me ~8 posts over the coarse of two weeks towards him. This one has lasted longer so he won't work for my record book. Unless, he takes the most flamed threads record, but I think "smackabeezy" holds that one at ~(-1100) rep points. I actually like him though.

Just to set things straight...

Bolt in cages dont do anything for structural integrity. They will more than likely punch through the floor in a roll-over scenario and do more damage than not having them in the first place. This is more of a show piece, although I dont think this one looks very good. Same thing can be said for the Cusco bolt in cages cages.

So OP, I dont think you should go about purchasing that item. If you are really wanting to get into racing... go to a local performance shop and have them weld you up a proper cage with reinforced attachment points.

Now that I'm home and not on stupid school network, I just saw the damn link you posted. First off, the shit bolts together. What makes you think that when a ~2500lb car flips over on the roof, that those shitty bolts and cheap tubing are going to hold it together? Especially since it only has two points at which it attaches to the body of the car? My God that has to be the DUMBEST thing I've ever seen on ebay

That is the funniest looking roll cage I have seen in my entire life. That shiet doesn't have a good enough warranty to cover your life, Blue Teggy. Please reconsider spending your money on something worthwhile. It can be a life-death choice.

On a side note, reading this thread through for the whole 6 good pages made me rofl.
