Ok so i belive my 275,000 mile motor is almost at a point in its life to be changed.
which would you do. rebuild the block and get a B16 head or do a complete JDM b16 SIR swap or do the B20 swap?
Either way i go id like to be able to run 12:1 compression maybe higher depending how high i can go and still be safe to drive. im just not a boost fan.

out of the 3 choices you gave id go with the jdm b16 swap.
it would be nice to have a true JDM B16 SIR swap. ive heard those swaps can get pricey too. but ive heard with the B18A1 bottom end with the B16 head i could run H22 rods and pistons. is this true? i figured thats how ya get the higher compression.

Well whatever route you go I suggest some 83mm 10.20:1 forged pistons.

i highly doubt you will still have them when i do the build though lol. but if ya do your the first ill hit up on that.
