Integra Newbe, on the Autobahn

So, I got this 1994 Integra LS automatic from a friend who couldn't sell it because it had been shipped over from Canada. The car had been underground, no really, underground for two years. There was mold on every surface, I think I caught a buzz just touching the seat. It took a while to get the smell out.

It only has 106k Kilometers on it. It's in good shape except for the roof where the paint is shot, and where someone had broken off the Acura symbol on the front and back. It is a lot of fun to drive, but because my winter tires are not high speed rated, I am not supposed to drive faster than 190kmh (118mph). The summer tires can go on starting in May (like right now). There are some pics.

Now a question: being in Germany, I need to know what Honda parts cross over. Is the Integra on a Civic platform? What other model electronics can I use? Any general tips?

Thanks.

So, I found the Honda Integra over here; it isn't that common, but it exists. There are two problems, though:
1. the oldest ones are 1998
2. all of them are Type R

So, how much difference is there in the 1994-1997 and the post face lift 1998-2001?

One of the first things I want to do is put in central locks with a remote, which will only cost me about €25- if the 1998 Integra Type R parts are the same as my 1994.

Thanks.

The front and rear bumper covers are really the only differences that came with the facelift, as well as the headlights.

Type r parts: some will be compatible and some won't. The engines parts will be different.

It's probably pretty rare being an automatic in Germany eh? No fun on the autoban!

The automatic is ok. On the Autobahn it doesn't really matter that much, but driving through the mountains it is kind of a pain. I mean, the real strength of the Integra is not its straight away muscle, but the way you can sling it through curves- in my most humble Integra-newbe opinion.

I got the car for free. A friend had imported it from Canada years ago, but couldn't sell it because it was an out-of-market. It had been in a underground garage for two years when I got it. It is a pretty fun car to drive.
