I think this may be the original. Im not sure. It's my 1990, but I don't have access to an Air Wrench ,_, we have good ol' fashioned elbow grease.i changed the fuel filter not too long ago...that was certainly interesting. no matter what my dad and i tried that bolt just wouldn't budge. i guess it didn't help that it was the original filter so the bolts were never off before lol...ended up borrowing our neighbour's air wrench and that sucker came free
I'm using a full wrench, that isnt a C/U shape. Its a full part that slips ontop of the banjo bolt. I'm using a U/C type wrench on the bottom as per the image instructions. Gonna try this Sunday to get the damn thing off. Im only afraid of breaking off the banjo bolts. If I could have it my way, I would just disconnect the hosing from the banjo bolts and put in new ones... ,_,You need a wrench with the head look like C and not a U? Forgot the name. I had problems years ago because I was not using the right wrench.
I just changed mine recently, it does take 2 people, it is very difficult.
FINALLLYY got them off. We used a breaker bar to pop the banjo bolt off, then again for the small 12mm screw, and two wrenchs for the 2nd banjo bolt. Pain IN THE ASS to get it off but we FINALLY did it Took us an hour and a half, but my Integra drives like a Happy Integra now. Back to quick acceleration....caught myself speeding a few times driving homei still havent gotten mine off yet either!
