I was lucky my car wasn't stolen last night.

I drove my sister's Lexus to work last night cause I still haven't fix my tail light problem (will do that today). So i just got home a couple minutes ago and when i'm pulling up to my driveway I see my keys hanging in the key slot of the passenger door. I immediately remember open the door to get some stuff out of my car and transfer it to my sister's car; this was around 10:40 pm last night when I was getting ready to go to work. i had just woken up from sleep and I wasn't operating on all cylinders.

So anyone could've walked by and seen my key there and took my car..... and I don't have a alarm too

damn!! you got real lucky! i suggest getting some remote/power locks. i was gonna say, get some rear handles for the fronts too (or just disconnect the cylinder) so you dont have to use keys. but if the battery dies, how would you get into the car? lol!! i could just go thru my trunk if that happens to me.

I think what Coy was saying was get some rear door handles, from a four-door, which deletes the key hole; or just disconnect the cylinder that controls the keyholes on your original door handle. The downside to taking away your ability to unlock the car with a key is if the battery dies, no way to unlock the door and you have to go through the trunk.
Since you have no remote, this wouldn't work for you yet.

what coy is referring to is that when you get 2 more keyless door handles from another DB (the rear doors) you can put them in the front 2 doors so that way it'll basically be keyless entry if you have an alarm system.
