Drop the speed limit to 55mph and help fight terrorism, lower gas prices, help earth!

A good concept, but people are still going to speed regardless of speedlimit. Up here in Boone, more people drive SUVs because of how shitty the weather gets during fall/winter. 4x4 is almost a necessity and I would have one if gas wasn't so high and even shittier when 4x4 is engaged.

Friend of mine has a MKV up there, even makes it around in the winter with sport tires. Boone clears there roads really fast in the city.

we'll be paying $4.40 $4.80 by summer and later this year
Maybe in Cali, just one more reason to hate that state.

they're falling off anyways. who needs em. lol

there's a guy I work with that goes the speed limit, if not under everywhere he goes and then comes to work braking about it saying "Whatever helps me get 40 mpg or better in my corrolla I'm doing to do! you can ride my ass all you want, but it's not going to stop me." actually, I think the other day he was boasting about going 50 on the interstate and "getting 41 mpg doing that!"... lol

people like that also really irritate me because in reality you're going to loose maybe 1 or 2 mpg over going 60 vs going 55 and piss off a lot less people. lol I know when I get behind someone going 45 in a 55 on my way to work it can really put a damper on things.
