DIY: Change gauge cluster lights/ Under dash neons

Did you guys all use the xHP5? or did you use one of the cheaper ones? like the WLED-x? whats the difference between the bulbs?

i have a 1991 acura integra... my needles for the fuel and the temp guage do not light up... would it be the main backlight lights are out or do they have their own bulb or something like that? the cluster itself doesnt look dim or anything... just cant see the needles at night!
I believe the g2 have their own bubls but don't hold me to that, there is a link to a DIY for G2's on the first page which would probably help, take a look!

Yep, the xHP5 was used by a majority on here. You can use any 194 size wedge bulb but those particularly have yielded the best results

agreed ^^

I used the WLED-xHP5: Green , they look great and i would highly recommend them instead of the cheaper bulbs.

i checked it it and looking very closely it doesnt look like they do... but i may be wrong! lol ill just have to find out for sure when i do mine up! thanks for your help!

Hello is there any way to change the lights from the cluster that read 1,2,D3,D4,N,R,P cause one of mines doesnt work, so i was just wondering are those seperate lights? thank u

Yes they are separate lights...

replacement bulbs: look up part #37103-ST7-003. Its like $3.50 a bulb from www.acuraoemparts.com,

I am actually looking for a suitable replacement for those bulbs myself, but the number above for oem is correct. I will be sure to let you know once I find out :thumbs up
