Rusted hood? yes? no?

well since my car has been wrecked i bought a brand new hood from certi-fit and i have yet to paint it... should i let it rust and put it on my hood? whats ur opinion, i think ik what i want to do but not sure. just want some different opinions, thanks guys! oh btw my car is stock green with a lot of metal flake so she shines

Not really my style, personally.. There is a thread with some photos in here somewhere. It's look kinda cool, but that's because it's on someone else car; I would get tired of it after the first two miles

I would have gone to a junkyard and swiped one for $5

To be honest... I would have one to go to a friendly meet or something, but not a daily thing.
I would just buy an extra and have my mint one too.

Here's my idea, which not alot of people do... Sand the hood down to bare metal like you were going to let it rust, then clear coat it. So now you have a bare metal hood that won't rust and looks legit :thumbs up

Lol. It could happen if Done right. Only to piss people off And just the "Wtf factor ".....like a 94 civic coupe with steelies with beauty rings, primer, white walls and exhaust comin out the Hood. Haha I don't really think it'd be 'cool' bit its definetly sumthn people would remember whether its good or bad lol
