got my components today, new/used condition went down to Indianapolis to pick them up
got a good price from a friend, only thing is he couldnt find the 4rth tweeter its somewhere but for now. need an amp for them still so it will be some time tile they get hooked up.
will start on the fiber glassing them into the kick panels tomorow!!!

well started on the kicker pods, didnt get much done but have all the stuff to get it done this week. So here's some pics
had to cut alittle some out so that the speaker will sit closer to the panel (drivers side is really close)
this it what they will look like, just to get an idea
cut the ring, got it at the right angle
gotta work all day tomorow so ill try to work on them after that

i always felt like my driverside would get kicked to shit on these setups, but hopefully it looks good. you might be a bit obsessed with bump dudeyeah, it hurts to cut OEM parts but its gonna look better

so after cutting alittle i got to wrapping them in the fleece
both on the floor
alittle test fitting make sure they are good to go, on the driver side i had to move the hood latch wire and on the pass side i had to cut the bracket that holds the car's computer so that the magnet on the speakers doesn't hit
pass side, the bracket use to be double the size
both, hard to see(car is dirty i kno)
They arent exactly the same because the kick panels are different on both sides but its close enough!
Time for some resin, fiber glass and then let them dry
NOTE: this sucked because i did use enough hardener so it didnt even dry after leaving it over night. This morning i went to check on it after leaving the fan on them and they were still wet pisssed me off lol so i mixed up more resin with a few extra drops of hardener and let them dry while i went to work.....
Yeah, check this out ghetto drying at its best. I figured i try drying them with heat
