I'm lost

so i try to wire my fan like this guy said from this link http://honda-tech.com/showthread.php?t=2402554
and it did not work.So then i try just to hook up the switch by its self with no relay and it work.My question is could i just leave it like that or keep trying to make it work.The reason I'm doing this is that the fan does not come on at all might the control module but i haven't found another one yet and i don't want my car to overheat.Any help would be great

before you feel you must put in a toggle switch for your fan have you tested or thought about testing your ECT (Electronic Coolant Temperature) Switch? The ECT switch is responsible for sensing coolant temperature and when switched, (coolant hot) provides the fan relay with a path to ground which then in turn allows battery voltage and needed amperage to flow to the fan motor. The ECT is located near the thermostat housing and the distributor. If your vehicle is a 90-93 integra it should have a black ground wire and a yellow/green wire. Also check the relay. These are easy things to do before ghetto rigging a toggle switch in.

You do like he said^^^. Or what I did was run a power wire from my fuse box to the fan plug and then grins to to chassis so when I start my car its on. Idk its up to you I used to have one on a toggle switch but motor ended seizing up thanks to my gf at the time not turning the fan on!!!

I did use a toggle switch on it.Also I couldn't find a new ect since my engine from japan I try going to auto stores and finding a similar one but no luck.I did check the relay

what kind of switch did you use? if it is a small little switch like the guy on your link was using, it might be dangerous to keep using it because the excessive amperage will create a lot of heat and could potentially start a fire (most likely melt but still very possible) also when you wired the fan to just the switch did you still have the fan ground running through the fan relay or did you bypass it? When you wired the switch with the new relay and it didnt work, were you running the supply voltage through the fan relay or did you bypass it and go straight to the fan motor?

yea its a small one but i put a fuse that way in case its gets to much amperage the fuse will short and not causing damage.i bypass it and bolted it on the chassis.I wire it through the relay but got nothing then i wire it straight to the fan and it turn on

Post a pic of the sensor you have that no one can find. You most likely can cross over the sensor from the B17.
