Prophet's DB Cleaned up first post

Hi! Been lurking the forums for a few months. Finally decided to make a build thread since it's almost summertime! Have a few plans for the car which hopefully I get to do.

Exhaust installed and car inspected 6/2/2011

My plans this summer are to:

Things I've done so far are colored red.

- Get tuneup / timing belt and water pump done
- Paint lip, rear valence, side skirts
- get rid of pin striping
- Have front bumper redone, (shave off the license plate holes, Acura emblem and "INTEGRA" lettering below driver side headlight.
- install my license plate relocation bracket
- Order new catalytic converter and 2.25 mandrel bent exhaust and have that welded up
- Reinstall my suspension
- get new sway bars (front and rear)
- get rid of bronze winter wheels, move K1s to winter duty, and get 16's and new tires for summer
- get OEM sedan window visors
- look for type R rear seats

Things I'd like to do if time and money allow:

- maybe? get usdm type R red acura emblems
- maybe? get oem Raybrig foglight kit
- maybe? get Type R wing
- maybe? get edm rear fog light and have trunk debadged and redone and have rear bumper repainted as well. Remove "INTEGRA" lettering.
- maybe? get Recaros in black w/ red sticthing
- maybe? get dc2 airbag steering wheel

Thanks! Yeah, I'll put the mudflaps on once I get the sideskirts painted. I also plan to put some 3m protective film in those areas because I've heard that they sometimes scratch the paint.

I have my timing belt maintenance scheduled for April 17 with my mechanic. Right now I'm going to order my mandrel bent exhaust kit within a week or two. Thinking of going with 2.25.

Going to get my parts painted last week of April. Didn't realize it was that expensive to get stuff painted. But oh well, I know my buddy will do a great job.

Contemplating what rims to buy. I'm leaning towards gunmetal Rota R Specs. I always liked the look of the oem Type R wheels. And I'm Filipino, so at least I'm supporting a local company. ;P

Thanks! I Appreciate it! I like it a lot too, but I'm sure it'll look a lot better with a lip, silver sideskirts, rear valences, mudflaps and lowered on 16s. :thumbs up

still debating on the Type R wing. My older brother says not to get it, but I'll wait till everything is on the car before I pull the trigger.

Just got back from work. Some of my parts arrived.

Type R Replica Lip - fitment isn't bad at all. Can't wait to see it in silver matching the bumper.
