You do know all nascars have domestic (ford or chevy, i forget) engines right?... I've seen under the hood of several nascar Camrys.idk guys.. honda is pretty ferocious.. i heard hendrick motosport was replacing jimmy johnsons car with a Accord.

Your actually right... Last time I listen to a recruiter at UTI. They had two Toyota nascars there and he said something like they were ford 350s, I thought it was odd that the valve cover said TRD...No. They don't.
NASCAR regulations only allow for 358 ci carbeureted V8's. TRD makes the engines though.

All the engine manufacturers in F1 have regulations to abide by, they must not make varying amounts of power with each engine having its own unique characteristics.

My previous car was a stock 2002 gti but not a vr6 its was a 1.8t and i live in a highly populated honda/acura area and ive raced a few hondas and acuras and smoked em evertime, until one day i totaled my car :-( lol not sure what they were runnin as far as mods tho. Now i have an integra and i love it. As far as the gti, still got it, its just totaled... so not much fun anymore

I raced my (stock at the time) Integra, against an 03 GTI 1.8T. I was hearing the whistle of his turbo, but he wasn't going anywhere. After my VTEC kicked in, you couldn't hear the sound of his turbo anymore. I beat him by a good car length ahead.
FYI: This was done late at night on an empty street with a straightaway.

I have owned few hondas from my first honda back in 1999. Never came across any haters because I have respect for other people vehicles. It's just transportation from point A to point B and the owners just like to make there vehicle different and stand out on the road.

yeah dont get me wrong i love hondas and i know there potential, maybe the ppl just couldnt drive lol but im all good with street racing after my accident (wasnt cuz of street racing) but makes you open your eyes, someone doesnt like gti's haha

Unless it's a newer VR6 06+. That's completely stupid though. Compare apples to apples. Must be around the same time period around it's initial release in their generation.
