My sisters ex bf got a car n once he left the car stayed behind. To repay his debts... Long story.

Anyways, while in his possession he said he managed to swap out the engine to a gsr. That would be a b series right? But the engine appears to say k20 LP something. I've got no clue what the hell I'm driving but its fun as hell. Tho the asshole left it in grave condition n I been tryin to figure out what each problem is. I'll post pics to show my new ride and what's inside.

and don't blame me for the condition its in. I looked into the engine bay twice only. When hr first brought it after the engine swap and after he left. Needs a good cleaning and maintenance. :/

btw forgot to mention its a 95 Integra LS Special. The transmission is a b18c. Any questions bout the car I'll try to answer em as best I can. I'm only so sure about what the car has and what's been done to it. Just tell me how I can find out any of these things and I'll gladly tell you. I wanna keep the car and id really like some help with this.

pictures will definitely be neccesary here. but a k swap is definitely possible in integras.

nvm, looks like you know...but b series trannys shouldnt bolt up to a k-series iirc...

Can you post pictures of the k20 stamp on the engine and the b18 stamp on the transmission?

Well, B18C is an engine code, not a trans code. If it's a GSR trans it will be an S80 or Y80.
It's not a K20 with a b series trans. Pics would be great.

the picture where your thumb is in the pic is where it says it all.... you have a B18C engine with Y80 GSR tranny. because your VIN says its a DC4 its a LS which means the engine was swapped in...the LS model comes with a B18B engine

so its not a jdm, its not an ls. knew the engine was swapped but just didnt know to what. the guy kept braggin about gettin a gsr so i guess he did. lmao. another guy took a look at it and said, nope, its a k20. no one knows there cars these days. i look up to yall for this stuff. id hug you if i could. lol.

question: i always hear dc2, dc4 and what not. whats it mean and how many types are there?

im just tryin to gain some knowledge about all that is honda/acura.(stupid question)

im more interested of where my engine came from. lol.

Definitely rockin a JDM B18C (aka JDM SiR-G) 1.8 liter VTEC with 10.6 to 1 compression and 178 horsepower and 129 torque. The JDM spec GsR is a tad more powerfull than a USDM GsR engine.
