Preserve the fuck out of this thing. I wouldn't modify it other than maybe coilovers with a modest drop. Oh, and some wheels.

I'm planning on doing some light mods to the car. It's already got a cat back, and I've ordered a K&N intake. I don't want to do anything that can't be reversed, as I want to be able to put it back to stock at any time. I don't really care about lowering it, and I know the stock wheels aren't that great, but they make it stand out as a GSR. If I were to put wheels on it, the only thing that would make it stand out as a GSR would be the easily-stolen emblem on the back and the VTEC side moldings. I am planning on taking them to a body shop and having them strip them down and re-clearcoat them, but that's about it for wheels. I was considering getting the DC 4-2-1 header. Anything else I should consider to add some more power? Thanks for all the replies.

Polish the wheels. That would look good.

That's a beautiful example of a DB2, I wish the body on mine was that clean (it will be one day..)
Personally, I'd take off the seat covers, my seats have gone through 19 years of people getting in and out and they're still in fantastic shape, so I don't think there's anything to worry about, so long as you take care of them like you would anything else.
14.8 is being VERY optimistic for this car down the 1/4 mile, even 15.2 is a stretch..maybe when it rolled off the showroom floor..my quickest was a 16.777 in stock form, granted our track is about 2300 ft above sea level and it was my first time ever down the strip.
And to clarify, the wheels on the GS-R are the same as the GS, the only visual cues exclusive to the DB2 are what you said, emblem and VTEC moldings.
Can't wait for some more pictures though! :)
