o2 sensor wiring harness from the engine

for a 91 integra ,is it a four wire harness for the o2 sensor?..cuz i dont have an o2 sensor plugged in..and by the way are integras suppose to have 1 or 2 o2 sensors..i know it comes from the header but i dont know how many there is

O2 Sensor is only two wires I believe and there is only one o2 sensor on my car and it's on the downpipe. Pretty much directly below the back of my engine.

I do have an exhaust manifold with the o2 sensor in it, but that came from a third gen LS motor.

Anyways.. so yeah, two wires.. and one sensor..
(On my car anyways.)

Sorry Prozon, but you are wrong...

The 90-91 are OBD0 and are single wire
Your 92-93 is OBD1 and is different.

Only 1 sensor on the exhaust header. If it's stock, you will need to remove the heatshield. Aftermarket is usually right before the Catalytic converter.

I'm 100% sure about this.
(My experience... I've worked with both and cut/spliced/soldered/crimped before)

mine is a 92 and i believe its two wires...one is green and one is white...not sure about 90-91's though

Could it be at all possible you are wrong Cripton? I could understand the OBD0 and OBD1 thing.. but saying that his '90 RS is somehow wired wrong? Someone added in a wire for the O2 sensor? That makes PERFECT sense..

I've seen obd0 have two wires before too..

Mine is 1 wire, but I meant its location, on the exhaust manifold, so quick to curb stomp peoples posts, and you don't have to remove the heat shield

As far as 90-91 DAs ive only seen single wire. I dont know how someone could add an extra wire though? Im sure factory O2 sensors are a single wire. Im sure about it.100%

HG's is a single wire too in his post.

I think it goes like this.

Obd0 single wire
Obd1 two wire
Obd2 four wire

Because since Ive worked around DAs before Ive seen the two different styles and i think they switched to the 4 wire on DC's in 96. I havent checked or seen it on those, but I can only assume because thats when the o2 sensors changed for the DA is when the Obd numbers changed.

Maybe... i think if someone swapped in a Obd1 engine? For the engine code it would throw once you swap it in.

He doesnt have anything now. It might have been difficult for him to find its location. I think the heat shield gets in the way. I find it easier to take it off. I also wouldnt like a bent one. Lol
I hate o2 sensor removal. Lucky for him its gone.

I'm just putting it out there that in some situations it will be easier to remove the heat shield. Sometimes that o2 sensor requires even a breaker bar. Sometimes it is easier without the heatshield, sometimes it's not. Most times that o2 is frozen in place.

I'm curious what they actually do. It seems like it might be easy to fool it instead of actually having the sensor?

idk wat engine i have..cuz the person who had this car swapped the engine and i see 3 wires that are cut..a white,green,and yellow..the whit one is the only one that reaches my o2 sensor in front of the header..i ahd to take out the heat shield.
