Lojack Vs. Regular Alarm?

Okay guys, I'm in the early stages of a turbo build on my GSR, and want to do security now. I currently have nothing but a quick release lock steering wheel. Do you guys think it's better to do lojack or an alarm? (I will not install myself, I can do all audio, but am not really comfortable with the alarm install. Any alarm buffs have any input?

They are effectively two different things. An alarm is to deter thieves from breaking into a car. It has sirens and immobilizers, and if a higher end alarm, will notify the owner via the remote if the alarm has been set off and what door is open.

Lojack is a car tracking service that will help get a car back AFTER its stolen. It will probably come with a monthly due as well.

lojack comes with a monthly fee too, high end car alarm is one payment.. lowjack is nice but expensive, I'd just get a 2way pager + kill switch+ hood latch relocation would cover it. I really want lowjack though..
