I'm picking up a Thermal exhaust from a kid this weekend. Was on a DA going to a DA.. he ran it with an ITR header on his '93, what header can I use to bolt up to the system on my '90? i googled and didn't get much help, mostly bickering between parties that i didn't want to read though.. :thumbs up

ITR is 2.5" outlet at 2-1 right? or i am misinformed? if so, wouldn't i be able to get away with an ebay header and "cat" or test pipe for a minute..?

Is he giving you a cat-back? If so, it doesnt matter what header you buy, the exhaust bolts up to the back of the cat not directly to the header.

He said catback with a resonator.. So idk exactly how long the system is, I'm trying to plan for worst case scenario.

If its a catback it will work with your stock header and cat.

Worst case scenario I would go to a muffler shop and either add or subtract some pipe if you end up needing to modify the exhaust.

Which diameter Thermal cat back are you getting? If it's the 3" I wouldn't get it unless you're gonna go boost.

Agreed. That I know of Thermal only makes a 3" exhaust for a DA. That will require modification of your cat to bolt up. I wouldn't get that if you aren't planning on going turbo.
