Yup. I have a 97-01 non-vtec valve cover on my 90 engine.

thank you i found a mugen cover and i was just wondering cuz i came of a 94 or something

Mugen only made Vtec VCs. Even the knock offs(which is probably what you're looking to buy) are Vtec only. So if you have an LS, it's a no go.
