Im working on my car as every other integra owner but i need to make my car noticably faster and make it stronger at the same time ... i basically need a very very very reliable car but fast is that possible?

if so can yall give me a small parts list on what to do because i guy with a 240 told me that i could get cams but then he was like well if you get those your gonna need this and this and this so thats why im here asking yall im confused as helllllllll :wtf:

Cams will require tuning, springs and retainers, I'd start with short RAM intake, header, and exhaust, you'll want those for your cams anyway

if you get a street cam you shouldnt have to get this and that and this and that it should go right in and work but if you go extreme with it then your looking into new top and bottom ends, ECM and or someone who knows what there doing when it comes down to actually tuning the engine thats where it gets a little over my head so im really not sure what to tell you. some bolt on parts that will increase hp without tuning is obviously intake and intake manifold headers and full exhaust which im giving a huge guess here but should increase hp anywhere from 15-30 hp

Nothing will give you a noticeable amount of power without doing something bigger and more expensive... A intake, header, exhaust, intake manifold is a start but you won't get more then 10HP from those (honestly your car is probably pushing less then 100HP with its age and mileage so a swap should be in order if you actually plan on making it go fast [if not, then think of getting a new car]).

I actually think a tune up will probably help restore more power then doing more mods...

nothing will give you a noticable amouunt of hp unless you rip it apart which compromises the reliability of the motor. Each part for a build compliments another, cams need valve springs and pistons for them to create power and the power needs intake manifolds, more fuel more air and a bigger exhaust system etc

I'm assuming you have an ls, intake manifold won't do anything til u get into stage 2/3 cams

not actually it will make you run stupid lean until he dyno tunes it for more fuel and then hes just wasting gas until he has a stage 3 cam

That's what I was getting at, look at my first post, the tune is included with the cams upgrade, but yes, its a waste til stage 3

you cant get reliable speed out off any mods. everything requires something
