DIY: Change gauge cluster lights/ Under dash neons

I finally got around to putting all new bulbs in my car. It was more of a "Get it done." kind of thing, so no fancy colors right now. I have to say though, it's fucking amazing having all my gauges lit up. I replaced all but like three bulbs on my cluster.

I'm about to do this, when I get my LEDs in. Did you have a problem installing the LEDs in since they were 360s? was there enough room?
No issues at all, just plug em in and enjoy :thumbs up

It's an amazing difference isn't it lol

The speedometer cable is the only hang up, I think I stated earlier here that if you have a buddy feeding the cable through the firewall as you pull on the cluster, it's a lot easier.

And yes Cole, it is about a million times better. I replaced the heater control bulbs too. It's nice not needing a flash light to see things. Lmao.

I saw that you added it awhile ago, I was just stating it because someone brought it up again.
(I'm not sure if that was before or after you added it.)

Good job bro. I would like to see the door switch activate under dash lights though. That would be pretty B/A.
I guess I should get my door switches working first though lol.

Splice into your dome light and staple the wires along your roof. :thumbs up
Hahaha.
If it wasn't already wired to my accessory, i might actually consider that lol. The trick is making that work when the doors aren't open haha

Yep. I'll try and make a wiring diagram. But basically, you can run the power and ground of both sets of neons to one location. That's the splicing you see if the two bars coming together. Power, you can just tap in to any 12V source, like cig lighter, or I did the switcher on my amp. And then find a good grounding point and make it work. The switch was a little extra that I added but doesn't really need to be done. So yeah, hope this helps! I'll get that diagram up asap. :thumbs up
