Burnt Integra

I've never seen an integra just catch on fire and burn to the ground. My buddy was driving back home from school in Orlando the other day and his integra caught on fire.:shock:

it was a work in progress, 01' Integra LS b18b auto. had 16" motegi's, greddy exhaust, headlight halos, MTX subs and full dynamat. Nothing was salvageable. it was his baby... R.I.P. Justins Integgy

he said he got on the highway, accelerated hard to about 80, after about 10mins of cruising it started smoking he heard something drop so he pulled over on the emergency lane. at this point it wasnt visibly on fire, but a guy stopped and opened the hood which he said revealed flames coming out of the engine and oil pouring out on fire.The guy and told him to get it away from traffic so they "started it" !!?? and the flames got bigger so they turned it off, put it in neutral and rolled it down an embankment. So basically he watched his integra burn and was panicking enough to not call 911 till about 12 mins after he pulled over. by the time they got there it was completely engulfed. The only thing i know is he ran it low on oil a few times and he never pays attention to the temp gauge. its a shame, i was just riding in this thing a week ago
