I have had to refill antifreeze twice now in just a lil over a monthbut cannot figure out were or why it is leaking. There is none on the ground when I move the car and doesn't seem to be leaking in the oil. Hince the oil is not a milky color or thinner than it usually is. Please help!!!!!!!

Well I hear you can get some UV dye to put into your antifreeze to see where's its leaking with a black light.
My problem was that I could SEE the antifreeze puddling onto the ground overnight, but I couldn't find the leak lol.

yeah you can put the dye in to see where it leaks.

well mine it doesnt looked like its leaking but when i looked up my timing belt it has a little coolant from the bottom of the timing cover also my little hoses from intake manifold leaks a little so i decided to replace them all. i know those small hoses cost a lot. i spend all the small hoses from the dealership for around $80 and its a special order :(:(

also check your radiator cap and the whole radiator.

It would be really obvious if one of your hoses was torn. The pressure would cause it to burst, or you would see steam when its hot. Usually.

Its most likely the head gasket unless you have a crack right on the resevoir itself. Also, are you sure youve had coolant in there before? Maybe you were low and the radiator has been taking in the fluid because its been low in there.

Ps... i had a rock smash my radiator and cause it to leak. Ive also dealt with leaks on hoses.

If it's the head gasket usually you build up pressure in your cooling system really fast. After the car has been sitting start it up and wait 10 seconds or so, pop the radiator cap and see if any pressure has built up in that time. It doesn't sound like it's a head gasket issue to me.

You said you had to refill twice in a month, about how much did it take to fill it? Could be just a small hose leaking, could be the waterpump leaking.. it could be a lot of things. I'd get some UV dye and see if you can find anything.

what i`m talking about the radiator sometimes they put an aftemarket automatic transmssion radiator which had a transmission cooler fittings underneath it. If it has some rust on it it can leak i know some after market radiators are made of cheap metal. also yeah the small hoses can have a small leak i know if you have a pressure it can cause it to burst because its old and brittle.

And yes it could just be your headgasket has a minor or small internal leak. try talking off your spark plugs then get a flash light and look inside the pistons if you have some coolant there then you have a headgasket leak.

yeah it could be alot of things the best way is to get the dye. And i agree with you if you see any oil on the coolant its the headgasket.

It depends how bad it is. I know 2 ppl that have their cars like that and they drive fine. They just constantly check their coolant. Every couple days or so they add coolant. One got it fixd and it was the heas gasket. The other is going to swap his engine soon, so he isnt going to fix it lol

Ok just got done checking all coolant hoses and there all almost brand new with no leaks. And if it was a headgasket wouldn't I have antifreeze in my oil?? An finally I already thought about the die and if there's no leak that I can see and no antifreeze anywhere how could that help? ??? I'm just wondering I don't wanna buy it for nothing and the only place that has it around me is Napa and its 23 bucks!!

If its burning coolent you can check by Smelling your exhaust if its burning coolent it will have a sweet smell that you cant discribe but will know. One option to do and is a good Idea is to go get a coolant pressure tester, It hooks to you rad cap and will allow you to pressurize the system and see if it a pin hole leak. There like 30 buck at harbor frieght and well worth it or you can get a snap on one but there 260 bucks.
