I was wondering if anybody has these, i want to lower my car before spring but i cant find the right springs that i want. i cant afford coilovers but i want a pretty low drop. i will be buying aftermarket struts/shocks in summer most likely, but i am going to run stock struts/shocks until then. so any advice would be nice pics etc.

Thanks

That kind of a drop is going to destroy your OEM struts pretty quickly. Why would you want to install them twice. Get the springs, then get a good adjustable strut (like Koni Yellows or KYB AGX) to go with them and install everything in one shot. It would be utterly stupid to install a spring like that and drive around with blown struts bottoming out everywhere you go...3.25" in the front is VERY aggressive.

^What he said, and when you're dropping down to THAT low of a drop, you'll seriously be seeing sparks wherever you go, unless there aren't any speed bumps or anything where you live I guess. Koni Yellows would well accompany your springs, but in my opinion, that drop is totally unneccessary. But I don't know, that's just me.

Also take into consideration that your car is going to handle like ass being that low without supporting mods to back up that drop. I have no idea what the spring rate is on those, but it could either cause the car to bounce off the bumpstops or make the tires bounce. Your GOING TO NEED an alignment and your car is definitely going to be out of wack.

damn, thats a pretty low drop, i say a 2.5" drop is enough and most lowering springs are around there, ie skunk2 etc

ok cause i right now i could enter my car in moster jam.. loll so i need to get rid of wheel gap like like tein s tech, h&r, skunk 2 etc. that would work 2.5 inch drop?

In my opinion, anything lower than a 2-2.5" drop starts to look a little funky. I'm not a fan of an excessively low car.

Here is an example of a 2" drop...gets rid of the majority of wheel gap without any rubbing or effect on camber.

I have a 2" front/1.75" rear...my camber is barely off. When you drop, get an alignment and have the TOE properly adjusted...you shouldn't experience any odd tire wear issues.

if you're looking to lower your car that much, the price that you're going to pay for the springs and struts is going to be absolutely retarded. You could probably buy coilovers for that price..
Don't use OEM struts if you're lowering, like stated above you're going to destroy them. If you just want to eat up some of the wheel gap, I've got Tein S.Techs on my car and they've done it well. Check out my sig to see.

I have some no name springs on my tokico blues and the front is probably dropped almost 3 inches and the back a little less. 1 finger gap, barely, in the front and a little short of 2 in the back. Looks really good, but nighthawk is right my tires feel like it bounces sometimes, I don't have a camber kit or any suspension mods besides strut bars. Save up for some coilovers then you can adjust the car to any height you want, and in some systems you won't lose shock travel from doing so. SAVE!
