New motor mounts, or new inserts ?

I just did mine not too long ago... I went with the energy suspension kit

Happy with the results and itll get me by until I rebuild the motor and get full mounts

i didnt know there was more than one. Im probably going to go with the race one then

yeah the drivers side upper is a three part insert...
you get four parts in the kit
two outside inserts and then another two that you sandwich in between the outside pair one at a time
you get a street use only and a race use only

i went with the race use only for about 5k miles and liked how it made the car feel but it turned my car into a rattle trap

seeing as how its a DD for the time being i went to the street insert and it calmed things down a lot

any of that make sense?

thanks for the link samurai. i`m guessing ima go with this for now .going to hit up that spot in Livermore. I`m not planning on running my car hard any time now because i also need to do a valve adjustment. Thanks a bunch. :thumbup:

another quick question what about the tranny mount ? its a manual one is there inserts for that one ?

What kit did you order? What was wrong?
This might save someone else from getting the wrong product later on.

I got the motor mount Inserts 3 Mounts Kit and they sent me some for a 92 civic, Now i have to wait another 2 weeks for me to ship them back and them send me the correct ones. :angryfire

Fuck that, make them ship you the correct set TODAY and you'll mail them back their set. Make sure you stress to them that it was THEIR mishap, not yours. If you bitch enough, they'll probably send them to you right away.
