The 97 ITRs are fucking unicorns. Make sure he does it right and puts the 97 front on her. I think there were right around 300 '97 ITRs made(312 is the last number I read for production), so she actually is worth it.
I mean hell, that car is worth nearly $6.5k in parts if he wanted to part it out, though I hope he doesn't.
Keep it OEM. ITRs in their native form are becoming very hard to find.
I'm going to call him and tell him about these two comments. He does want to preserve value as much as possible, so this may give him a second thought on the JDM front, although I do dig on them

Not sure I follow, dude. I can tell you the frame is bent behind the left front strut bar, and they need to tweak it a little and re-weld the seam. As for aftermarket frames, I'm not too clear. You may be thinking of taking part of another Integra frame and welding it on to the damaged frame?

When I was at his shop getting my car checked, I was just walking around asking, "Lemme get on this for a minute", "Lemme borrow your seats", "Sell me your header and exhaust". I wanted everything but hte frame damage, lol
