How do i know if i have a gs or gsr?

I bought a 93 acura integra with a b18 motor and dont know if its a gs or gsr..how do i know what is what... Also notice that the abs light is always on is that normal?

Title will say what model it is, vin number will tell you, no vtec is a sign on GS,

No abs light being on constantly is not normal.

abs light shouldnt be on
look at the block stamp if its B18A its a gs.
a GSR has DOHC VTEC on the valve cover and originally came with a B17, but may be swapped for a B16A, or B18C

Then its a gs..is that a good sports car? I was a ford guy until my friend got me into liking import cars...as for the abs light its off for a while then turns on when im driving never knew why and there isnt a button for the abs to turn it off so i am like wtf? Lol

The GS is ok. It's like any other non-VTEC integra.

Is your brake light on as well as your ABS? If your abs light stays off when you turn the car on, then comes on when driving, you need brake fluid in one of the reservoirs. If it stays on all the time, your ABS has problems.

It's not a sports car... But depending on how well it is maintained it will be a good car.

Acura integras are not sports cars. Closest you will get from the factory is a Type-R, but I dont know if that would fall into what I term "sports cars." More of a souped up economy car.

An Integra could be considered Sport Compact, but not a Sports car. The only true Acura Sports Car is the NSX.
