some i hope minor problems

so i change the pcv valve last week and i think it might be the wrong one cause car was idling find until i change it now when the car is warm idle from i would say 1.3 to 0.7 :(...also whats the correct idle for 89 b16a..and lastly no power steering cause pulley doesn't line up any suggestions on that ??? any help would be appreciated

nope it idles when cold at 1.2 then when warm starts idling at 1.2 then drops to 0.6 n keeps doing that going to check for leaks tomorrow

It sounds like you have a vacuum leak. Probably the PCV to intake hose.

well it might be that or that they didnt give me the right one i look up the pcv part code n i need one for itr intake manifold ill go see if they have one at honda dealer tomorrow...but any clues on the power steering ??

I don't think the wrong PCV would do that. I'm not even sure if it really matters as long as it fits. I'd be sure to check the vacuum lines for leaks.

As for the PS pump, are you sure your putting the belt on right at the crankshaft pulley? Do you have A/C or just P/S?

it fits but sticks out a bit so not sure..yea ill be sure to check ..

i dont have a belt on it due to the fact that it doesn't line up to the other pulleys so dont know whats goin on there...n i have both but no belts on them ill post pics in the morning

In what way does it stick out a bit? Will you lose a belt if you put one on it? Is your crankshaft pulley on all the way?

to hose that connect to block it doesnt fit the same as the old one ..i would put the old one but it broke...ill have to check

If anything disconnect the hose from the PCV and plug it with your finger. (That way your intake doesn't have a vacuum leak.) If it stops surging you know what your problem is.
