Shopping for Coilovers

So I'm shopping for coilovers and need a little advice. I can't decide: A) What brand should I buy. B) Whether to just get sleeves or a full system. and C) Should I just get springs? Here's what I'm looking for. I recently put 17 inch wheels on my 97 Teggy LS. Obviously theres a huge gap(I went up 3 inches). I'm not making my car into a performance vehicle, I'm just going for a mean look. But I'm in a price range only going up to maybe $500 for I'm 17 and work a Chick Fil A, ahaha. So what do you guys think would be a good investment for me?

I'm in the market for coilovers myself and I am convinced I'm going to get the Function and Form Type 2's (typically run around $830 shipped) but a lot of my buddies have gotten the Function and Form Type 1's ($545 shipped) and say they are a great buy. A little stiff but not to an obnoxious point. I'm going to be Autocrossing my car this year or I'd just pick up the Type 1's.

Not just spelling. Dampening has a completely different meaning from damping. Look it up. All the suspension companies that say "dampening" are idiots.

If your budget is $500, why not wait a couple months and save up an extra $150 to get the Skunk2 Pro-S Version 2?
