Sounds like a pretty penny was spent there. Its going to be so nice when its done though.
like sub $300 for all that plus a flywheel resurfacing. im just disapointed i need to get more stuff for my build because of the cams and i especially need a hondata system even though i have a p73 :/ but yes that clock does work mark lmao!

^nice looks awesome, need to hit the machine shop too, i hope sooner than later
thanks bro

See now I wasnt going to say anything because I just assumed all of your clocks were broken over there.

And $300 seems on the low side for all that work, not bad...

that one, the one on my computer, the cell phones and my parents clock radios are the only ones that are 100% on time lmao!!!!!

i had no idea they were doing the glass beading to clean the ports i was suprised actually. im happy with the prices and the quality of work :thumbs up

Very nice, look like you have done a lot so far. That is the same engine I have in my DA.

I need to learn about internal modifications. I feel left out when people talk about porting, boring, and these other car lingos. hahah I feel so noob. Sounds like you are ready to finish your "starting from scratch" build for your new cams.

I want to finish it but i need alot of stuff i didnt think i would need so i sold alot of the stuff :[ including an intake manifold, and p28 ecu.

but its all good im not mad.

and heres a quick run down on terms:
bore: make the cylinder walls bigger to fit a bigger piston (width)
hone: smooths out cylinder walls of imperfections
port/polish: making intake and exhaust ports bigger

and internals basically all compliment each other, cams either need compression or displacement, that needs a bigger intake system and an exhaust system to suit

Oh yeah! You sold your IM to your friend right? If so, just snatch it back! lol jk... Can you give me a breakdown of the p28 ecu? I've read that I need that to run my car right without it having issues after installing an IM. I still have mine sitting in my closet because I'm still unsure of what to do with the ecu after I install the IM. Please explain what I'll need to get done, where did you bring yours to, to get chipped, etc. . .

I need to learn about the compression and displacement on engines also. I don't really get the ratios. lol

That engine is just plain beautiful. Looks like it's coming along nicely. :thumbs up
Slowly but surely lol thanks bro!

I love this car ! 8)
Thanks! one day i hope to track with you all out there in Europe

your car is obd2. You need your obd2 ecu for smog so keep it. Your obd1 p28 will make your car run right with a dyno tune. the p28 ecu is a "one size fits all" vtec ecu. its the easiest to mess with and its usually easy to find. i used pharable.net for one car i helped build, while another one had a hondata s300 system in it already.

As for compression ratios and displacement goes, NA=more compression, higher domed pistons Boost=lower compression
