Real Good!
is it, then def time to upgrade to the volt meterSick voltmeter setup! i need to figure out what to do with my clock, it broke
over kill NO SUCH THING lol1/0 on the big three is overkill for the integra. The only thing that "needs" to be 1/0 is the batteries ground. The integra's alt(~65amp) barely needs 4 gauge to be honest. I ran my batt ground to the stock location using 1/0, eliminating the stock batt ground in the process. Ran 4awg from the alt to the batt, and a ground from the engine to chassis using 4awg.
Granted, if you're planning on upgrading to an expensive ass alt down the road 1/0 from alt to batt, and engine to chassis could prove beneficial.
My car idles at 14.5 upon start up and settles to 14.4 when things warm up, unless ELD kicks in and my voltage drops to 12.5v(lol honda)........
yeah not gonna be running a baby alt for long, im getting a custom one made just a matter of time. Im sure the 300amp alt is gonna need more than just 4g to charge my batteries up :thumbs up Im prob gonna run two 0g power wires from the alt straight to the rear batteries
with lights on heater on deck on the voltage doesnt move 14.2-14.3
Dont really notice a different "yet" its more of an audio upgrade, the biggest change will be with the bigger wire from the battery to the alt witch will charge your battery up quicker when you have system. How much of a difference can you tell with the new setup?
For mine Im gonna be running atleast two more batteries in the spare tire part, im just gonna run my power wire straight from the alternator and skip the front battery
Was gonna put in a small system today but my box doesnt fit, so im making another one. gotta have one of my boys design it so it fits behind the seats, subs up port up tuned to 32hz. Pissed me off i had everything apart to run the wires and box didnt fit FMFL
