so ive been driving my car stock for about 6 months now, its a 91 integra b18a1 non vtec. well i bought a zex nitrous kit brand new along with zex spark plugs, and the zex traction control window switch. my question is do i need any hardcore engine internals such as forged pistons or rods? the kit says that it can be used for stock and mildly modified vehicles, but i have people telling me im going to melt my pistons to the wall as soon as i hit the button. its a dry shot of nitrous, and i also have an intake on its way through the mail. im also getting a full exhaust before any fluid goes in the bottle. thank you for the help

CI BOOST FIEND
nitrous is usless

your could boost your car and make 400hp on a completely stock motor and (if done right) last longer than if you use a "50 shot" frequently.

Nitrous is very hard on the motor

Check the FI/Nitrous forum for in-depth information. But the short answer is the motor and tune should be setup like a turbo build. You do run the risk of causing damage to the motor if you spray with no tune. You can get away with using a small-ish shot of NOS on the stock block as long as you have a good tune. That's always the most important part.
