vtec gasket help

hey guys i just ordered a vtec solenoid gasket for my b17 i was just wondering if i have to drain any of the oil to put it in and should i put any rtv or something on it??? do i need to tourqe it down? any advice is appriciated thanks

if its a new gasket you shouldn't need RTV, and when you take it off its going to leak a tiny bit of oil. Just make sure b4 you install it you wipe off the oil, and don't torque the screws, they might snap, tighten snug use your best judgement, if it does continue to leak i recommend using RTV
