Hey i want to add Power Locks to my 1992 LS. Is it possible to take Powered Locks from an GS and put them in my LS?

I imagine this would be possible, but it would involve a lot of work just so you know. I am not sure how it goes in and out of the fuse box, but that would have to be addressed, then you would need to swap over the door latches with actuators, all wiring, and there is probably quite a bit more I am not thinking of off-hand, maybe relays and maybe some sort of control unit. You would have a serious day long job I would imagine ahead of you unless you are just very quick at things like that.

You can get an alarm with keyless entry for like $300 at car toys, problem solved, that includes install

LOL that's not quite how it works..you actually need *power* locks to be able to have keyless entry. ;)
Although that's probably the easiest solution..put in an alarm (you should anyways) and have the shop install aftermarket power actuators (easier than swapping everything over) and they can then hook up keyless and voila.
Granted, it's not the same as having OEM power locks since you don't have the switch to control them in the vehicle, but I rarely use the switch in my DB2, just my remote 95% of the time unless there's a circumstance where I don't want my alarm on.

$300 if you already have the electric locks already I think its 150 for the conversion kit... go to best buy and get one of there alarms for 200 and its the same thing Car toys sells for 300. Cartoy is just over priced junk you can get for MUCH less at best buy or other places

Lol adding an alarm is my whole reason behind this, i also wanted to see what would be easier. I guess taking the power locks from an GS is out of the question LMAO, hella work too much time i would have to go pull all that shit. But my local alarm shop is asking 100 dollars a side to add power might go that way. Thanks!
