I think my clutch is slipping?

okay so this only happens in first but i will be accelerating from a stopped position ill be gaining speed and rpms then all of a sudden the rpms drop and its still not grabiing first then the whole car jerks forward and its in first again idk whats going on maybe clutch transmission pressure plate?

Is it fine in the other gears? If so, you are probably dealing with a 1st gear synchro issue. If it happens in all gears consistently, then I would imagine the clutch is the issue.

If your clutch was slipping you should see the RPM's raising while the speed stays the same
X2, slipping means the clutch is basically a little engaged, causing the RPM's to rise freely without much resistance. Good luck with finding your solution OP
