Throttle Body?

So, I am looking to but a new throttle body on my 92 LS but i dont know what size to buy? Right now i just have most of the bolt ons. Intake,headers,exhaust,intake manifold. Does any one know what i should get? Thanks

you dont need one unless you have cams. I suggest a dyno tune to get your AF back in order due to the intake manifold

Yeah, it really doesn't make much of a difference. I never really upgrade my throttle bodies on hondas. I am putting a 65mm one which is slightly bigger on my new setup, but only because it is going to be pretty well built and have bigger cams and all. You could probably get a type R one maybe without throwing anything too far off, but samuraiblue is probably right in that tuning and tuning software would be a more worthwhile way to spend the money really.

So whats would happen if i did not get a Tune? BTW this site is fucking awesome every body seems to know alot of information!

I got Skunk2 intake manifold but I have OEM throttle body what size it's good for my intake

To get a Tune does my car need to chipped?
chrome is the cheapest
hondata IMO is the best
chrome is similar but is a chip which you can reburn. Its a free program as well

No exactly stock but 70 mm throttle body fit on Skunk2 intake manifol
well a 60mm throttle body bolts up as well...the opening for the skunk2 pro series intake manifold is 64mm. Unless you are putting down serious power you dont need to go above a 65

So I DO need to chip my ECU? In order to tune it for the Skunk 2 Intake Manifiold that i have?
