New 96 LS

Just got a new 96 LS in not so hot condition.... ill post some pics in a minute. The springs were cut to drop it so low that the bumper sometimes scrapes and the tires rub a little in the wheel well. Also when the previous owner installed headers they were the lowest part under the front end so they scraped a hole in them. Luckily i got new Tein Basic Dampers and DC 4-1 Stainless Steel headers on the way. My next purchase is some new rims and tires (15x7 Kosei K1 silver with BF-Goodrich g-forces 205/50/15) to get the driveability back, and eventually take it to a body shop to get it fixed up and repainted. It has full exhaust and thats it. What can i do to it to give it more power without putting a turbo on it? Also it is an automatic, how much $ and HP will i need to get it to under 6.0s 0-60?

A lot of weight reduction, a lot of motor work and swap the tranny to manual. Or you could look into goin turbo

Ok how about 6.5s lol here is what I've considered, I'm pretty much definitely going to get an AEM intake and skunk2 intake manifold. I was looking at cams but I don't know what is required to do cams, I was also looking at fuel injection stuff. I plan on doing all the work on the car myself except perhaps getting it tuned after a cam installation. I got this car for 1500 and the engine has 30k on it while the rest of the car has 196k... A manual tranny swap is pretty difficult right?

any suggestions of what I should do to this thing? I just want it to look awesome (although all integras do IMO) and be moderately quick.

Yep already got that on the list, like I said earlier I'm getting kosei k1, and yeah I know this car is a bit of a beater but I got it for $1500. I just sold my other car for 4000 and as soon as I get the rest of the money I'm ordering my rims and tires.

if you want your 0-60 to drop you need a manual tranny. automatic transmissions are notorious for being expensive to be able to take power

Really I'm just not sure what I want to do, any idea how fast I could get it NA and AT and if so what would I need to do to get there?

The reasons I don't want to put a turbo on it are:
1. I know nothing about turbos or what is needed to build a turbo kit
2. I'm afraid of doing something wrong and messing up my engine
3. I don't think I could come up with the money to purchase the parts and services needed to run a turbo safely.
