Good sir, I'm shocked and appalled at that statement, I stand by my statement, my car is a sports car, it's a two door, light weight, and would waste any civic on the road

They werent made has a sports car. Its lightweight for better fuel economy. Some people like coupes over sedan. It does not make it a sports car. I highly doubt it would waste every civic. Ive seen 500+ hp civic's.

Civics were lighter... Sports cars are faster. 0-60 in 10 seconds, 17 Second quarter mile is far from a sports car, It was simply a quicker, More upper class way to get around town while saving gas (economy car).

BTW, It came in a 4 door...

By your standard... A Honda Del Sol is a sports car, A Scion TC is a sports car today, All VW Beetles are sports cars... A sports car is justified by how fast it is and how well it can handle. The only Integra that was built to actually be a sports car is the Type-R, The rest were just sporty with a GSR being pretty close to sports car consideration.

So sorry to disappoint you... But again, incorrect...

1988-1991 Civic SI "The American-market Si sported a 108 hp (81 kW) D16A6 engine and weighed in at 2,286 lb (1,037 kg), achieving a factory 0–60 mph of 8.1 seconds; and a quarter-mile time of 16.2 at 82 mph (132 km/h)."

1992-1995 Civic SI "From 1992–1995, the USDM Civic Si used a 125 hp (93 kW) / 106tq single-overhead cam D16Z6 VTEC engine, which enabled the car to hit 0–60 in 7.5 seconds and a quarter-mile time of 16.3 at 86 mph."

Integra "RS, LS: 4-spd auto
Acceleration (0-60): 9.0sec.
1/4 Mile Run: 17.5sec.
RS, LS: 5-spd
Acceleration (0-60): 8.1sec.
1/4 Mile Run: 17.1sec."

As I was saying, The Integra was a more "sportier" and luxurious solution to the Civic. Nothing more, It's not a sports car and it won't kill any civic of it's era.

140hp......put the same gearing on and I'd win, half throttle ha, get your facts bro :) I'll race anyone on here with a stock civic, and I'll stock out my car, get ready to pay for my lunch :) done it too many times

92-93 had 140HP, but 92-93 Integra's weigh a little more.

1990 Acura Integra LS Coupe MT 2590
1993 Acura Integra LS Coupe MT 2619

I can't seem to find stock 0-60 and 1/4 mile times on 92-93 Integra's but it can't be too much better then 90-91 with the added weight. But your mentality has proven to me how you are

Bottom line... No a RS/LS/GS (GSR[still questioning that one]) Integra is not and never will be a sports car. It's a economy car that can be made to be fast. But stock form is just a gas sipping grocery getter.

Well I'm done with this conversation, I don't want to make enemies over a disagreement of personal beliefs, my offer still stands, anyone with one of the cars listed previously in my area is more than welcome to shut me up on the racing side of things, just make sure you bring some spare pride, cuz I'll be taking a majority of it with me to lunch, I'll put my money where my mouth is, lunch on me if I lose, on you if I win, and ask anyone who knows me, I'm a man of my word on the track and the street. I respect and appreciate your thoughts and views db1, and hope someday soon to share more discussions on here with you :)
