What parts are interchangable between generations?

So my friend's cousin just totaled her third gen integra, and they are now parting it.
Just curious if anyone knows some parts that are compatible with the second gens.

I can't think of any but i'll probably be buying the wheels and alarm off it.

The strut bars are probably different right? She has them front and rear on it, assuming they aren't tweaked, would they fit my second gen? Will any components of the suspension fit on my second gen at all? Who knows, I might even buy the transmission and do the hydraulic conversion.

Just let me know what you guys think.
Thanks.

Is it an LS or GSR? If its an LS, you wont have any benefit of swapping that transmission.

I dont know of anything thats interchangeable.

The benefit would be my transmission needs a rebuild. 273k on it.
However, it is a GSR, and I was thinking hydro conversion, which alone would be a benefit.

It has a basically brand new B18C engine, it was literally just put in a few thousand miles ago. Less then 5k on it.. but I don't need a Vtec, going LS turbo. :p

Anyways I was just curious about suspension and what not, but I had my doubts if any of it would interchange.
Thanks for the reply.

Thanks a ton for the link Ominous. That will help me a lot if the suspension turns out to be okay.
I have my doubts, but i'm crossing my fingers.

Anyone have an idea if the strut bars for front and rear would match up? I'm kind of doubting it.. but who knows.

if they dont fit exact, is nothing a TIG and some bending won't fix :p

I've never done TIG. I'm more of a MIG kind of guy. ;)
You should see my horrendous welding on my trailer I did yesterday.

Arc Welder+Bad Welding Rods+Welding Upside Down=Bad Weld

Somehow when I was cutting some ramps for my trailer, I ended up burning a hole in the gas line for the MIG welder.. so I need to replace that before I can use my MIG welder again.

I said TIG cause I figured the strut bars were aluminum :???: I prefer MIG any day!

I was told you have to heli arc it with a TIG.. I'm not saying you can't, I just dont know how lol I am by no means a pretty or efficient welder but I make make steal stuff stick to other steal stuff lmao

Yeah, i'm not really one to look to for advise on welding aluminum, I haven't done it and don't know how to go about it. But like you said, if you need some simple steel to steel welded, i'm your man haha.

On another note.. I decided to finally finish my trailer up incase I needed to haul this Integra home. I welded up the rear and put the ramps on, I hooked it up to my Blazer, because it was what I would tow with.. and I picked the only vehicle that would drive up the ramps.. A '99 Chevy truck. So as I drive on the ramps, I notice the rear of my blazer is actually lifting up... haha. I think if I had a LITTLE more weight on the rear, I could have gotten the blazer off the ground. :p

Well the clutch system would be different. The 92 has a cable clutch, and the 95 has a hydraulic clutch. If you're putting it into a 95 I wouldn't bother with it. If your putting the 95 transmission into a 92, get a hydraulic conversion setup.

And Nathan-
I loathe rock crawling. Mud or trails for me. ;)
