Gettin new rims. Any advice?

I was actually responding to the comments that were made on your thread that had nothing to do with answering your question. They were complaining about people giving their opinions on subjects and not being what the person asking wanted to hear.
I apologize for doing it on your thread, but it needed to be said.

As far as your car goes, I'd recommend going with a 15" wheel diameter, 6.5-8.0 inch width (depending on offset), and a black wheel with a blue lip would look good on your car.

oh, okay. haha. its fine. i agree with you. i just didnt know if it was directed to me, since you said asking for opinions. so i was kinda confused. and, im was debating between a 15 or a 16 inch rim. i just didnt know if 15 would be too small. and yeah, im thinking to black with blue lip would look good. its just finding a pair i like. that are 4 lug.

i want 15s or 16s. 5 spoke pattern, if possible. with a tuner look, not a show car look. (if that makes sense) haha. and, i know there are sooo many different types. thats why im lost at what to get.

The reason I dont understand some people is because sometimes they try too hard to make their car look good and it just makes it worse. In reality theyre just swapping their superior oem parts for inferior aftermarket. Just because its being "changed" doesnt make it better.

Look at the DAs on my sign. We had some of the cleanest DAs in Cen Cal. We kept it simple with oem parts and flush looking things. We always had offers on the table. I sold my car 2 hrs after I had it up for sale and everyone thought i sold it cheap as hell and asked why i didnt announce it first.

But then again. Its your ride. I just think youre being blinded by the "aftermarket" theory. After you finally finish, youll have spent money on things you might not be satasfied later on after you start learning more about hondas and styles

Pretty much. I get "out of the blue" offers on my 93 G2 all the time and it's stock as fuck except for a few color scheme changes on the light lenses to give it a more cohesive look. And usually the only comment they make is, "it's fucking clean". Damn skippy. Inside and out. That's the way I kept her.

^^ how about making your own "rims advice" thread^^ and not steal the OPs

to the OP, pick a rims whatever you like best for your car, rims are like shoes, once you get tired of them you can slap different set on and it will change complete look of car, I always was taught "who gives a fulk" what other opinions are but your own..

i just thought that i can ask for advice cuz u guys were giving advice about rims instead of opening a whole new thread about rims when there is like thousands of them in this site ..but ok will do.
