Alright, I'm new to the Integra scene, and I'm starting my first project car from the Integra family. I own a 2000 Integra GS, with the B18B1 motor, and I'm looking for some advice on what should be my first modification. Any advice would be helpful. Thanks

Is it a 5-speed? Id say get some new lowering springs and struts.

Get an aftermarket exhaust system, header, and air intake. Then later down the road you can have the head rebuilt, or bolt on a turbo.

But like whats been said its whatever you want dude.

keep it simple for now, theres an endless array of modifications id start with suspension along with research then tear in to it with out remorse.

BBHG.. one love.
^alarm system

depends on if you want more of an appearance car, or a performance car. if you want both, i would start with a good set of suspension :)

Depends on where you live. I live in the sticks, have no alarm and leave my doors unlocked. In the city, i would look to build a secret starting mechanism that only you know. (threads on this-search). Cars are harder to steal when they won't start and you have to put them on a roll bed truck :)

Do all required maintenance first.!!! Flush tranny, oil change, plugs, rotor cap, rotor button, plug wires etc.
I would go suspension and tires. No use going faster if the car has crap suspension, is unstable, and causes you to crash. Speed is made in the turns, not on straightaways.

Good luck!

Thank you for the advice. I'm really looking to boost performance first, with visuals coming later. After taking the air intake box hood off, I found the acceleration increased drastically, 'specially under heavy throttle. The car does have a tad too much body roll through corners, so visuals aside, messing with the suspension and dropping it a few inches to lower the center of gravity and installing performance springs, struts, and sway bars would be good. Keep the advice coming, I'm soaking it up like a sponge.

rockadilla

thats right.
1. SECURITY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
2. suspension
3. decide if u wanna go turbo
4. proceed from #3, if no. get I/H/E
