Fuel Pump Issues???

ok guys i have a 93 integra and when im at a stop and rev the engine and then let off the gas the rpms will drop down to 0 and sounds like its bout to die but doesnt and goes back to idleing at bout 1 1/2 to 2 rpms. and just recently ive noticed when takeing off from a stop espessially up hill ive noticed its taking off farely slow and when i shift into 2nd gear it just doesnt get up and go like it did few weeks ago. feels as if i were to shift to 2nd or 3rd way to soon and thats even if i shift at 4rpms. and then today the car would start and shoot to 3 rpms then just die. so i tryed to start again and did same. so then gave it lil gas went to bout 4rpms then died. so then floored it and it started and stayed on but idles very low like 1rpm sounds like it wants to die but doesnt. so im thinkin its my fuel pump and or filter?? what you think?

Have you hooked it up to a coder yet? My Teg's doing the same -exact- thing only diff is my engine light is going on/off. I found thru the codes it says MAP sensor issue & misfiring all 4 cyl. with random misfires were found. I haven't found the solution yet due to finances, not sure if it just needs a simple tune-up & cleaning or if the MAP really has failed. But I would def hook it up & see if it leads you to some better answers.

If you are having misfiring, I would also have to suggest spark plugs, but also wires, and distributor... From what it sounds like, the distributor is causing it to not spark properly on a full rotation... Pull the cover on the distributor, and check the rotor... My BMW 528e did it, and then it wouldn't start... For some reason it burnt the rotor, and distributor cover, and wouldn't allow it to keep running, or even start later on! I would start with the plugs first... Then go to the wires, then distributor cap/rotor. :D

well the spark plugs are new cause i just got a new engine in it cause last one had spun rod bearring so i had the plugs changed too.

also i have no check engine light on. and the car wouldnt start just that 1 day it hasnt happened before that or after. its just not getting the power it use to. and im alot of city driving and i drove bout 30 miles on the freeway for the first time in awhile and car has ran and idled great since then. so i was thinkin fuel lines were bit clogged and unclogged due to higher speed for awhile?? if that makes any sense?

Highly poss, definitely do some throttle cleaning as well, check your exhaust line/air lines for any discrepancies, make sure sensors & lines are clean - cheaper fix
If you do see a lot of uncombustable oil build up I would suggest investing in a catch cup, it'll collect there instead of elsewhere

1990 integra ls automatic. few problems need some assistance please. only sumtimes when i start it it runs rough the engine shakes and it almost dies. i turn it off then start it again and it runs rough for about 5- 10 seconds then idles ok. it happend after i was speeding around. is it the main relay? or the feul pump? i have new plugs, wires, and distributer cap already.

it is verry slow in first gear no acceleration at all it seems. more gas just seems to make it slower ...kinda. it just creeps to about 15-20 mph then shift and does ok after that. it just feels like sumthing iis holding it back. could it be gunk in the modulator valve?? and also where is this modulator located?

#3 i have a check engine light that comes on and off. while driving it comes on but if i come to a stop it goes off. the guy that owned it before me said the shift lock was locked and he just broke it and because of that the check engine goes on an off. could the shift solinoid thing be the root of all my problems? please help

i havnt changed it since i got it and doubt it was done before that. how would i go about cleaning the fuel filter?

I wouldn't worry about cleaning the fuel filter I would just get a new one. A lot like you would an oil filter.

Found the issue was leaking master/slave cyl. Can't figure out the connection of the oilk and shifting though... poss a gasket?

The bad idle could be linked to the MC leaking and losing vaccum...the engine vacuum is connected to the brake booster. This could have been the issue.
