turbo exhaust?

ok, so i am about to do a turbo build on my gsr integra and i know a lot of people put 3" exhaust on there turbo'd tegs for good power and i have bin told " you cant make over 300whp with out at least a 3inch" .... witch i think is bs, As of right now i only plan on making a little over 300whp and i don't want the car to be to load so i was planning on going with a 2.5" would that be to small?? and would it make it harder to hit 300whp??

That is a load of crap. For example, the Hasport K20 powered Civic made 455whp with a 2.5" Thermal R&D exhaust. Although that is not ideal and there would definitely be some benefits to running a larger diameter, it won't make 300whp that hard to come by.

yeah that is what i figured i just wanted to make sure it was not going to rob a lot of power. I plan on making 300 on around 10 psi (gsr motor and t3/t4 60trim) you think that sounds about right with the 2.5 exhaust??
