i paid around $800 but that was for the whole front clip (fenders, bumper, hood, and mirrors)
i got the best one, the warranty and shit..i got a military discount

Alright so this is what my paint looked when I first bought it.
^^the previous owner canned the hood.
Like crap lol.
Went there aug 2009 and sent it away for paint. Got the first level paint. (So the cheapest one lol) which was normally 350 but on sale for 289. Got a extra thing which was called value "something" which was $50 and is where they sand down a lot better or something like that. Makes it so theres no cracks on my car that was previously on it. Total was $355 with a 1 year warranty. The warranty is crap though because if you come in before 6 months in that year than you dont have to pay anything. 6 - 9 months after and you have to pay 25%. 9 to 12 months and you have to pay 50%.
This is how it looked after. Very small clear coat. Actually I dont even think they did one.

The paint was great! for about 6 to 7 months... lol. All of a sudden paint was peeling everywhere. Not huge, but enough for me to notice. Biggest part was a 1 by 2 area under pass mirror. Which I could see the prvious paint and it looked like all they did was paint over it. So I went back for the warranty which was only 90 bucks. After 2 times of giving my car to them to let them paint it, (the first time they didnt get all the spots, and the second time they sprayed over my front grill and missed some more spots) I gave it to them a third time. Fortunately it was fantastic looking! There were so many spots on my car that were peeling, they had to spray a clear coat over it so they would all blend in. They got all the spots I wanted and the car it awesome now! The only place its still peelin a tad in in the pass side dorr handle. BUt im too lazy to take it back just for that lol. So I payed 450 in total and have had the new paint for a bit over a year now.

All in all im very satisfied. Just had to do some work to get to that. But who knows how long the pain will last. But planning on clayying and waxing it soon.
BUT. It really is a hit or miss because my friend had his 91 accord painted and spent 1300 bucks there on it and we had it done at the same time. His paint is chipping and coming off a lot on his hood. My paint job is a lot better than his even though his is peeling as bad as mine was at the time, and even though mine was 850 bucks cheaper.
My imput for you. If you really dont have a couple grand to spend. Go to maaco and dont let them take advantage of you, get a paint job and take it back if needed. If you do have over 1k bucks then take it some place professional. I was almost 16 at the time and didnt have money so I had too because I had no paint on my roof, trunk, etc.

yea your right..i mean i took mines to maaco and i have never had a problem excpet for the mirrors but they fixed it free at charge
once again, mention that you are in the military cause i told them that and i didnt even show them my cac card and they still gave me the discount...
the only thing that really pissed me off was that they over sprayed alot of places on my car..i found the primer paint on my valve cover and ram intake...and my wheels but not that much :/

haha I forgot to mention this, but the first time after getting my car painted. I had the license plate on there. and guess what. They didnt take it off!
