well..coy said he knows a shop near him thats cheap...ill have to call them up...but im still gonna check maaco out too..idk, i just want some before/after pics and someones in depth advice that actually got their car painted there.

IMO they did a good job on my car, but wish i still had it just to see how the paint held up over the years...

yeah, that does look good. how much did u pay? they have 4 levels of paint...which 1 did u get? 1 being the cheapest 4 being most expensive.

I think it was stage 3 presidential. I paid $1500 for it w/o coupon. I remember telling the guy exactly what I wanted and made sure it was written BIG on invoice, so they didnt paint inside bumper grill. if you want to take parts off your car, do it first cause it will be extra $, also trade out your rims for steelies... they only over sprayed on one area on that car, and it was on the hood cowl (think its called). do as much prep as you can so nothing over looked and so nothing gets over sprayed.

I know if they dont do prep work, they wont, but if you do it and you tell them to do prep i dont see why not they will accept the warranty. but i dont work at maaco so I would ask them. They only spray one layer of primer and one clear coat, they will do more for extra money. presidential is only one stage paint and i would just let them do all prep so if something goes bad you can fall back on their 5yr warranty.

i dont feel like doin prep work lol. but man...i was thinkin of waitin till spring to get it painted...fuck that..if its like $400 i can do it before christmas probly..

have you got a quote from them saying it will be $400? I think their quote last up to a month. Im from st.louis mo

its drive to their place and get a quote..it takes less than 20mins.. you should see how much extyra it is to shave your molding
