would a 6 inch intake manifold fit in our car?

Do you mean a 6 inch short ram or cold air intake? I don't see the point, the throttle body isn't getting any bigger.

This is an intake manifold by the way.

Whatever you want to use it for, no it wont help. It will decrease intake velocities so much that it will hurt performance.

The measurement is at the widest portion of the cone filter. This is not a problem and will not hamper intake velocities, as the piping still retains its 3.5-3" diameter. The filter just provides more surface area to pull in air more efficiently while blocking particles. Your title said manifold, which is completely different from a filter. Thats where the confusion was.

This filter will be fine for you.

yea sorry l realized that too ,l was being stupid. but do u know if this is any better then the 3" ones though> cuz thats the one l am currently using. and would be makes more noise ?
