If you feel you need it, then might as well buy it...atleast thats how I think. Its not going to hurt anything besides your wallet if you spend the extra money on a fuel pressure regulator and a gauge. I for one like to know what my motor is doing, so the more gauges the better.

good idea to get fpr/guage. as for injectors if you not going over 500whp 1000cc is way too big!!
i have 550cc and making 540whp and the injectors are at 80% duty. im going 880cc next year just cause i am going for more whp and higher boost. so think what you want than make the buy, bigger is not always better get what suit your goal. G/L with everything

Please explain to me how 1000cc injectors are "way too big" for his goals? Did you fail to read anything I posted? You can tune injectors down, meaning you can take 1000cc injectors and use them on a car making 190whp, then turn around and use them on a car making 700whp...you can't do the same for 550's. In fact aren't you the one buying a 2nd set of injectors because your upping your power? Makes more sense to buy things twice rather then once to you I guess...

Please don't tell me its an idle issue either like most people like to claim. Tony at T1 has a video of a stock D series idling just fine on ID 2200 injectors.

You've never heard of Tony Palo? You might wanna do some more researching then. I am not here to argue either, I am here to help people and give them correct information. It makes far more sense to buy once rather then twice and there is nothing wrong with running 1000cc injectors on a car only hoping to make 300whp, if its tune properly there is no disadvantage in the long run.

oh and my bad it was a stock 1.8l LS motor

and if you don't want to research who Tony is, I'll tell you who he is. First guy to run 8s in an Integra and one of the most regarded tuners/builders/drivers in the Honda world.

You where able to make 540whp with 550cc? is the fuel pressure bumped up? or is it normal for 550 to be able to make that much power at 80% cycle

I'd like to see a data log of your setup with the 550's, along with a dyno sheet. Not saying your lying, just saying its highly unlikely
