Head upgrade

i own a b16 engine and would a v tech with the computer work:???:? or should i get the b20 head for more torque? :???:

You need to do a lot of reading so you can learn what you actually have.

If you have a B16, then you already have VTEC. A B20 head will not bolt onto your block, and if it were possible, you would lose VTEC. The torque comes from a higher displacement block, which has a longer stroke and larger bore. You could do a B20/VTEC, by getting a B20 block, upgrading the rod bolts to ARP bolts and pistons to higher compression pistons, and have a nice setup.

all these dudes are leading you on man, jeezus!! at least let him know that doing the VQ30DE-K maxima head swap on the bseries block, he'll be making serious HP.

that bseries can stand up to 1000HP with no blockguard, true story, they tried it out on mythbusters
